After traversing through the city streets of Vancouver on my way to the waterfront, I reach my first point of interest, False Creek. This marks the beginning of my ride where there's always water within eyeshot. Riding around the water inlet I discover the domed Science World. There are a feew of highrise buildings, probably condos, off to the right.

As I progress around the inlet, boats of every size, shape, and class can be seen. It is all really quite beautiful.

I encounter what, at a distance, looks like a mammoth water bug. Upon closer inspection it turns out to be this metal sculpture.
