When I arrive at the same tunnel I passed through yesterday on my bike ride, I take another panoramic picture hoping the visibility is better than the day before, but it is just as hazy to my disappointment.

I'm in the van as you can see. Unlike the previous day when I was on my bike, I now feel constrained by the van's encapsulation and I'm really missing the 360 degree view my bike ride afforded me. This is the first section of road repair I ran into the day before but couldn't document.

In Montana it's legal to ride a motorcycle without a helmet, here's some folks riding without them. I've seen many, many riders doing the same as I pass through the state. A turned backwards baseball cap seems to be a very popular headgear option. It's fair to say more ride without helmets than those who do. My only comment on this issue is I ALWAYS wear a helmet when I ride a BICYCLE. And bicycles are so much slower than motorcycles. I think Montana must be practicing Darwinism, survival of the fittest (and that includes mental fitness).

I'm not going to show repeat pictures of going up the pass again, especially not from my van's lousy vantage point. These shots are just on the other side of the pass.
