Atop the lobby is a feature called the Crow's Nest (sorry about the flash obscured sign). Too bad an earthquake closed it down to the general public.

Above the Inn's entryway is a patio with seating available to folks wishing to watch Old Faithful spout off.

Helloooooo? It took until 1987 for the Historical Society to figure out this Inn is a National Treasure?

At this point I'm getting a little excited about seeing Old Faithful in action. I just need to get an idea of what time she's predicted to blow. I walk up to the prediction board and the place starts to shake. One of the big geysers must have been going off. Well, if truth be told, I must have slipped somehow, causing the camera to shake.

So Old Faithful is predicted to blow at 1:17pm, give or take 10 minutes, with an average interval wait time of 92 minutes.
