After my ice cream adventure I notice this mobile food concession on my way out to the parking lot. Apparently the operator has a monopoly on food because he's the only food gig on the property. My lunch is being flipped on its head, I venture a bite AFTER eating my triple scoop Ben & Jerry's ice cream cone at the tail-end of the factory tour. But it's all good. I order the Chicken Kabob Pita and I to say, it is the best pita I have ever eaten. Best ice cream, best pita, what else could anyone ask for? Today is certainly a good day for my stomach.
On my way back through Waterbury I stop by a carwash to both hose down my dirty bikes and wash the van. All three come out squeaky clean.
Pressed for time, I decide to forego some of my drive's scenery by hitting the Interstate all the way to Montpelier, Vermont's capital.
From a distance I can see a bright golden dome which draws my attention like a moth to a light bulb. It's the dome of Monteplier Vermont's State House.
