After the museum tour I head down to the waterfront where I meet up with Cape Cod Bay.

Apparantly the birds in these parts know how to sail?

Finally, I've arrived at the place where Plymouth Rock resides. I'm excited now, the primary reason for my visiting Plymouth, MA is to see this sight.

Before I go, I grab this picture of me, just to verify that, indeed, I am really here.

Off in the distance I see a large ship. Could it be the actual Mayflower? Has it been preserved throughout the ages and is now beckoning me to visit her decks and holds?

Yeah, right. I think I need to lay off the hallucinogenics, eh? D-uh! The original Mayflower is long, long gone. This is The Mayflower II, a reconstruction of the original ship.
