The fog sticks with me as the daylight dwindles. During the first few hours of driving the scenery proves to be rather uninspiring.

About the only interesting sight I can conjure up given the limited sunlight is this highway cutout. Pretty exciting, eh?

Driving along, I find myself smack-dab in the middle of nowhere when the sun finally settles, replaced by a curtain of darkness that's rudely yanked across my lackluster driving day. Am I really in the middle of nowhere? I turn to my radio for verification. Here's proof, a video (2.1 MB) to verify that indeed I am in the middle of Nowhere, TX.

A few hours later I reach Pecos, TX and my home away from home, the Pecos Walmart. Weary from my long drive, I drag myself into the parking lot and notice there're about 15 other parked RVs. This must be a Walmart Parking Convention? Regardless, I settle in for the evening and work on the website before falling into bed and unconsciousness.
