HANGING  WITH  PAUL

Denver, Colorado

Friday, November 20, 2004

I see daylight, time to rise and shine. After seeing all the snow, instead, I pull the covers over my head and fall back asleep. This is the first time I've slept indoors on my trip. So it feels a little odd, waking up inside, because I'm so used to sleeping in the van. Not that I'm missing the van. After all, it snowed last night.

I bundle up and go outside, I need to attend to the van. It's covered with snow.

What the heck?!? I think the van is trying to tell me something. I don't think it's happy with the weather conditions, no? I think I'm going to go along with the van on this one, yes, the weather does suck. My original trip plan was to travel the USA for 3 months, meaning, we should both be back in Portland, Oregon right now.

Wow, I think it's talking to me as I stand here, can you hear it?
