After arriving and to my great delight, I meet "Big Mike", the resident T-Rex. He's all bronze and weights in at a hefty 5-tons.

I'm a little disappointed to learn I can't climb on Big Mike though. I bet he'd make a great pre-historic jungle-gym.

I pay $9.50 then pass into the Museum. It's going on 6pm and the museum closes at 8. The person at the front desk tells me I can come back tomorrow for free with my receipt. Well, that's rather nice of them, late-comers like myself are given a second chance.

I'm most interested in seeing the museum's pre-historic offerings, so I start at the beginning, the formation of Earth.
