Cougar, Washington

Thursday, July 8, 2004

Between Woodland and Cougar, Washington, I discover the "big daddy" of tire markings. And I'm talking about tire tracks of Godzilla proportions. Honestly, I've never seem a more strange set of tire marks. They very well may have been created, not by skidding tires, but perhaps, by spinning tires because of their fishtailness (is that a word?) since they're all wiggly. I estimate their length to be about 80 feet or so. The last picture is me pointing to one of the many chunks of tire rubber that are stuck to the road. If I could go back in time, I think I'd pay money to see the making of those tire tracks, assuming no one was hurt in their making, of course.
