What is going on here? I'm in Vancouver, B.C at the moment and am vigorously scratching my head. For some reason the owner has strung orange plastic fencing around all his trees. There are more trees in the backyard that are ringed with fencing as well. I'm not sure why the fencing is there. Maybe to protect the trees from squirrels, but can't they simply jump into the protected trees from a tree not on the property? I don't think it protects against insects. Maybe the owner is going to raise rabbits? No, probably not. So why? I'm totally perplexed. What do you think?
