CONCRETE  TARANTULA

Coeur D'Alene, Idaho

Wednesday, July 21, 2004

Beware when traveling in and around Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Sections of sidewalk have sprouted spider legs and are taking the town by storm. Seems the only way to subdue the 8 legged stone creatures is to throw orange safety cones around them. Luckily when I arrived by bike and passed by this specimen it was already taken care of.

I kept my eyes wide open as I toured the city and luckily I didn't see any more. Could it be they're nocturnal? I didn't take any chances, I left town well before nightfall.
