Coeur D'Alene, Idaho

Wednesday, July 21, 2004

Beware when traveling in and around Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, especially if you have small children. Sections of sidewalk have sprouted spider legs and are taking the town by storm. Seems the only way to subdue the 8-legged stone critters is to throw orange safety cones around them. Luckily, when I arrive by bike and pass this specimen it has already taken care of.

I keep my eyes wide open as I tour the city and luckily I don't see any more. Could it be they're nocturnal? I don't take any chances though, I leave town well before nightfall.
