US Supreme Court
Washington D.C.

Something is strange about this demonstration, all the folks who've gathered have placed red tape across their mouths. At the U.S. Capitol, in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, I witness a crowd of peaceful demonstrators who apparently have nothing to say. Who are they and why are they here?

After talking with one of the protesters, and not understanding a thing she was saying because of the tape on her mouth, I'm forced to draw my own conclusions. All kidding aside, she wasn't taped, and she tells me they're a Christian group who are protesting a woman's legal right to have an abortion. It's the old Roe vs Wade tug-and-pull between the Pro-life and Pro-choice folks.

Luckily for the Pro-life demonstrators, there aren't any Pro-choice people here. Quite clearly, the Pro-lifers would be at a great disadvantage. They'd lose any and all arguments and/or debates on the abortion issue because they... well, they can't talk. Or maybe they would remove the tape from their mouths. Regardless, it's a peaceful protest. No shouting, no screaming, just a silent exercise of their 1st Amendment Rights.
