The ride continues to be fairly level as it has been all along since the start. But this will soon change, the turn-off to Signal Mountain should be just up ahead.

And just after that thought crosses my mind the sign for Signal Mounted presents itself and I make a right turn.

Boating must be pretty big here on Jackson Lake, there's a parking lot just for trailers at the entrance.

A warning sign of sorts, foretelling my future for the next 5 miles. But I'm up for it, for every ride up there's always a rewarding and speedy return down.

Initially the upward grade isn't so bad.
