First I start out with this berry tart. Yum!

Next, I buy Christmas gifts for family and friends.

Good quality for the price.

Lastly, I buy some baked bread.

All purchased from whom? From Crucita, of course. A regular fixture in these parts from what I've been led to believe. She makes the baked goods, her son makes the jewelry. She shows me two pictures of herself, the first is from an old magazine article that talks about her way of life in the Pueblo, the second is from a postcard.

After talking with Crucita I decide to wrap things up and call it a day, my tour of Taos Pueblo has come to an end. Taos Pueblo is an interesting place, filled with its fair share of history and tragedy, 1,000 year old adobes, a flourishing tribal culture, and a beautiful mountain backdrop. All the needed ingredients to make this tour a 5 thumbs up experience, a perfect score!
