I pass a campsite where folks have hung their food to frustrate the bears. It's tough being a bear around these parts.

Look, a free hat. Whenever someone finds something of value on the trail, they'll usually put it someplace prominent where the owner might find it.

There's just something about this picture that I really like. I can't quite put my finger on it though. Can you?

The climbing starts to get harder and the colors, while still evident, are slowly fading.

The rocks and roots have formed a pact, both have gathered in an attempt to hinder my upward progress.
