Washington, D.C.

Each eagle sits atop a column made of bronze.

The floor of the Atlantic pavilion contains this large metal enblem as well as a few inscriptions. The inscriptions surround the metal emblem.

I'm now standing in front of the Atlantic pavilion. On each side I find a famous quote pertaining to the war; the one on the right pertains specifically to the Atlantic theater of war.

In front of the pavilion there are four large markers, each sporting two small fountains. Loosely, there were four sub-theaters of war within the Atlantic theater. We have North Africa, Southern Europe, Western Europe, and Central Europe.

Around the rim of the fountain pool are the various Atlantic theater places and events.
