Lake Placid, New York

A sign especially for those folks who have ideas of trying their own hand at ski jumping.

The scenic view from atop the tower is spectacular. Never before have I seen so many reds in fall foliage. I've pretty much hit Lake Placid at peak foliage.

Whiteface Mountain & Jeffface Mountain. Notice the short shrubbery atop Jeffface Mountain. Not long ago it was barren rock.

I take the elevator back down then board the chairlift again and start my way down.
