Highlights: The final resting place for more than 250,000 American military personnel, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, many famous people are buried here; Presidents John F. Kennedy and William Howard Taft, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, actor Lee Marvin, boxer Joe Lewis.

Lowlights: I only have 30 minutes to complete my tour.

I arrive at the entrance gates of Arlington National Cemetery with little time to spare. I only have 30 minutes to tour the sight. That's not much time at all, so I need to quickly formulate a plan of touring attack.

I go into the Visitors Center with the hopes of someone giving me some useful tips on how best to see the cemetery in 1/2 an hour, considering the suggested visit time is around 2 hours. Soon thereafter I emerge victorious, I've scored a highlighted map that'll take me to the most popular sights. Too bad they don't rent out rollerblades, I could certainly use a pair of them right about now.

Off I go from the Visitors Center. I'll have to do a bit of walking (or running) to get to the gravesite of John F. Kennedy, the first stop of my rushed tour.
