Memphis, Tennessee

From the dining room I step into the kitchen. This certainly looks like an ordinary kitchen, nothing special here.

From the kitchen I make my way down a mirrored staircase to the basement. On the way I get a quick glimpse of the Jungle Room.

At the foot of the stairwell, to my left, I find the yellow and blue-toned television room with full bar. Three television sets are located against the back wall, the ceiling is mirrored, and the U-shaped couch is open and inviting. Elvis installed three televisions because he liked to watch 3 football games simultaneously.

Across from the entertainment room is this bizarre billiards room. I just can't get over the odd tapestry that covers all 4 walls and the ceiling. Tiffany-style lamps and more than 350 yards of hot paisley fabric adorn this place. Why? Well, Elvis was attempting to create a turn-of-the-century look and feel. Had he succeeded? It looks more 1960s to me.
