Located in Vancouver, BC Canada, the $5.3 million dollar garden opened in 1986 for the World Expo and was the first full-scale classical chinese garden ever built outside of China. 52 experts from the city of Suzhou steeped in the ancient techniques of the originals created the garden in a year's time. The garden was named after the founder of the first Chinese Republic.
