Thinking about car-camping on the streets of Lake Placid? Think again, "The Man" is on the prowl here in Lake Placid. That's probably why I decided to camp out at Wilmington Notch Public Campground just down the road.

Looking for a sale on your window shopping apparel? Look no farther. These three stores have some pretty good sales going on.

Have any money you'd just like to pour down the drain? Lake Placid can help you with that little activity. Just buy one of these little beauties.

And last but not least. Are there any wild women out there? Well they've got you covered too.

Looking up at the sky I notice the evening has arrived. My stomach is telling me it's time to get something for dinner which effectively signals the end of my tour. In summary, Lake Placid is a nice place to visit. My little stroll on Main Street, while a little touristy, was a pleasure. I rate my tour of Lake Placid 4.5 thumbs-up out of a possible 5 thumbs.
