Click here for more detail and pictures of our hike up Mount Chocorua in the big and beautiful White Mountain National Forest.

We complete the hike in about 5.5 hours or so, it's good to be down off the cold, foggy mountain. Thoroughly tuckered out from our trek, to energize ourselves and circumnavigate having to prepare dinner, we pick up some subs before returning home.

At Bill's place we meet up with his girlfriend, Louise, who swung by to say hi. I had heard all about her from Bill and was looking forward to meeting her. Turns out, Louise is a real sweetie, she's chocked-full of energy and exuberance. I really enjoyed chatting with her, and listening to her thick French accent. Oui, oui, very nice indeed.

The three of us spend the evening hanging out and catching-up.
