A day of driving and biking is in store for me. After waking I cook up a quick breakfast, clean up, then hit the road, destination Emerald Lake.

The lake is a little ways south of Bozeman, MT, located deep within the Gallatin National Forest, near Hyalite Creek.

The drive is similar to the day before, flat and not very interesting.

Cool, I just crossed the Missouri River, the same river Lewis & Clark explored more than 200 years ago. It took them 2.5 years to complete their expedition and when they returned to St Louis many were surprised, most folks had given them up for dead.
