Here's the reservoir the dam is holding back.

A couple miles of dirt roads on the way to the trailhead, portions of which are severely washboarded and filled with ruts. I have to drive slow, don't want to break my ride.

I finally arrive.

Time to saddle up and head down (or rather up, up, and up) the high altitude trail.
