So I take the path to the lake...

... and am welcomed by this beautiful sunset.

Isn't it just lovely?

An adult duck and her mostly grown ducklings pass by on their evening forage. I'm surprised at just how close they approach me. I think they're used to people and are probably hoping I'll throw them a scrap or two of bread.
