Having received my walking papers from the Executive Branch of Ellsworth, ME, I jump into the van and head out towards Acadia.
As I drive to Acadia the sunrise greets me.
After a short drive I reach the Trenton Bridge which separates Acadia National Park from the Mainland. The second photo is the sunrise over Frenchman Bay and the third is an abbreviated shot of Western Bay as I cross the bridge.
As I motor along I enjoy the sunrise over Frenchman Bay.
I decide to check out Bar Harbor before making my way to the campgrounds. The front doorstep of this quaint fishing community is just a short 9 miles away.
