Except for being a little chilly, the day looks to be a good one. Monica and I are interested in checking out the Southern Maine Coast today, and what better time to do it than when the sun is out and about.

Today's planned drive will take us through Kennebunkport, ME to the coast. From there we'll head due north for aways, then make our way to Portland, ME for dinner.

With routing in hand, we jump into the van and head east to the coast.

Upon arrival we notice we're not the only ones with an interest in sand and surf.

The waterfront homes here are really quite nice, some of which reach into the realms of grandeur. If you're not well off, you have no business living in these parts. There is an exception, however. If you live in a white van and move to new street-camping sites on a daily basis to minimize suspicion, you too can live here. Hey! My van is white, I can move it on a daily basis, I can live here! The only problem is trying to get mail delivery.
