Monica and I have plans to go hiking today in Southern Maine, where the focus of our attention will be Pleasant Mountain. The hike won't be a terribly difficult one, it'll be under 5 miles in distance with a 1,500 foot ascension. I've never hiked with her before, but, based on her overflowing energy and enthusiasm, I suspect a good time will be had by all.

Our drive plan today will beeline us directly to Pleasant Mountain, afterwhich, we'll loop back to our lodging in Kennebunk, ME.

We hop in the van and head to the trailhead.

After about an hour's drive we find ourselves at the trailhead. Come join us as we climb the mountain to get a heightened view of the surrounding Southern Maine landscape.

After our hike we drive back to Kennebunk, ME. Nothing terribly exciting is encountered along the way, as indicated by these *yawn* lackluster pics. Later in the evening we drive to Biddeford, ME to catch the movie The Forgotten.
