N O R T H C A S C A D E S N A T I O N A L P A R K
Northern Washington State
I've reached the Washington Pass, elevation 5,477 feet.
Another panoramic view. I think I'm getting just a little better at taking them.
Nearby peaks.
On the way down from the pass. The sun is starting to set, there's a pink tinge in the clouds.
Well that concludes my quick van tour of the North Cascades National Park. I'm very surprised by the park's rugged beauty and wonderful vistas. I must make a point to visit the park again sometime in the near future, when I have more time to hike and bike. I rate North Cascades National Park a solid 4.5 thumbs-up out of a possible 5 thumbs. Simply put, it's a spectacular park.
