I eventually lose sight of the mountain range as my route turns to the northeast.

The ride continues to be fairly level as it has been since the start. But that is to soon change, I've been riding for a while now, the turn-off to Signal Mountain should be just up ahead.

And just after that thought crosses my mind, the sign for Signal Mounted presents itself and I make a right turn.
