Boating must be pretty big here on Jackson Lake, there's a parking lot just for trailers at the entrance.
A warning sign of sorts, foretelling my future for the next 5 miles. But I'm up for it, for every ride up there's always a rewarding and speedy return down.
Initially the upward grade isn't so bad.
Peeking through the trees is Jackson Lake. It's a large alpine lake that's about 1/4 the size of Yellowstone Lake which is located 30 miles to the north.
The upward grade starts to get steeper.
