Turning eastward I ride back into the island's interior. Just traversed, the second picture is a shot looking back at a very long and fun downhill. I managed to reach 46 mph on the way down!

After a short bit of riding I turn south and find myself on a dogleg to the island's southern tip. This is a view looking eastward.

I've arrive at the southern tip. In both pictures you can see a small lighthouse in the distance. After hanging around for a while I bike down to a nearby private harbor for a looksee.

Nothing much going on here, so I turn tail and head back to Friday Harbor. The tour officially ends with my arrival at Friday Harbor.

My time spent on San Juan Island was short but certainly sweet. It's truly a laidback vacation spot that's a great place to get away from it all. I rate my tour of San Juan Island 4.5 thumbs-up out of a possible 5 thumbs.
