Bloomington, Minnesota

I decide to tour Camp Snoopy first. It's hard to say what is the most prominent feature of the amusement park. I suppose it all depends on where I stand. There are two roller coasters. One encompasses practically the entire floor space but is sparse in any given area because just a small section of its track runs through it. The other rollercoaster has a smaller footprint but is more dense, giving it a presence all its own. Then there's the ferris wheel that reaches up 3 stories. Regardless of which ride is the dominant feature, the amalgamation of the many, many rides in such a small space is really rather impressive. Whoever put this all together did a bang-up job!

Ticket prices are somewhat expensive. The best deal is the Unlimited Ride Wrist Band. Most of the rides required 5 points. To give you and idea of the cost, if you went w/the Linus option, you could ride one of the roller coasters 4 times for $15.00. As I stand here looking at the ticket booth, I wonder if perhaps there was once a Pig-Pen ticket option that was introduced when Camp Snoopy first opened but was quickly yanked because it was deemed politically incorrect?

They offer rides for the little kiddies.
