MEMORY LANE - Thursday, September 16, 2004

Memories are the glue of life. Some are good, others are not so good. But, like it or not, memories persistently stick with you. They effectively hold you together and faithfully play a role in who you are today. Having returned to my old stomping grounds after years of absence, I'm now finding myself deeply immersed into the realm of memories.

Today will be a bike down memory lane. After thoroughly documenting my maternal Grandparent's property (now owned by an Aunt and Uncle), I head by bike to my childhood home, located in Oakfield, NY. On the way I stop by Pine Hill Airport, the airport where I learned to fly when I was just 15 years old. Soon enough I reach Oakfield and spend about 2 hours riding around, snapping photos, and recalling a lot of my past.
