Taos, New Mexico

Friday, November 19, 2004

In Taos, New Mexico ,you'll find what looks to be a curious assortment of elephant tracks within the city's Historical District. Does Taos have an elephant infestation problem? Closer inspection, however, proves otherwise. Rather, someone has artfully inlaid tree trunk cross-sections within the sidewalk. Never have I seen such a thing, clever idea.
