The bike riding gods are calling. The time has arrived to suit up and hit the trail.
The ride starts out in a residential neighborhood in Spokane, WA. I have to ride about 6 miles through residental streets before I will reach the Centennial Trail. I enter the trail where it intersects with Mission Street.
A Centennial Trail marker. These signs and other varients are used across the entire trail, both here in Washington and in Idaho.
Upon entering the trail I notice it starts out on the shoulder of the road and stays on the road for a ways. To my right is the Spokane River.
