Washington/Idaho

Coeur D'Alene is pretty nice. It gives me a high-end resort town kinda feeling. Bordering the huge Coeur D'Alene Lake, the community offers great beachs and parks, motor boating and sailing, shopping and restaurants. It looks like a great place to vacation.

Apparently moose in Coeur D'Alene are a rather strange bunch. The one on the right seems to be some kind of fabric patchwork punk rock freak.

The day is growing late, it's time to head back to Spokane, WA. On the way back I start to take notice of the markings on the trail. The one thing Idaho did right with the Centennial Trail is to paint warning lines to alert riders of up and coming stops. I think that's a really good idea.
