Washington/Idaho

As I leave town I pass by a number of commercial and industrial complexes. Geeze, I was hoping for views of the Spokane River instead.

Further down the road I pass by this dam, apparently part of a large system that supplies water to the entire region.

I am finally out of town but I've lost the trail, the Spokane River is nowhere in sight. I've wandered too far north so I turn around then run back into the trail after about 2 miles.

Now I'm in business, the trail exits the street and turns into a nice paved bike trail.

And the river is right alongside the trail, perfect.
