I spent an entire day and evening visiting New Orleans. During my stay I predominately toured New Orlean's French Quarter, the oldest part of this famous southern city. Herein you'll soon discover that I've sorted all my sightseeing categorically. Additionally, I've tried to order my categories chronologically with respect to each other to in order to give you a feel for the order in which the sights were encountered. Without further ado, here's the French Quarter through my eyes (via my camera, of course).

COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL

New Orleans, like most large cities, has a substantial commercial/industrial aspect to it. I discover such a corridor west of city center.

HORSE  &  CARRIAGE

Since New Orleans is a tourist town, I encounter many horse-driven carriages. Tasked with carrying tourists, I suspect most drivers double-duty as tour guides. They talk about the passing sights as they make their way in and around the French Quarter. Kudos to the operators, they seem to be really prompt in picking up their horse droppings. This is the only pile I see during my entire stay in The Big Easy.
