On my way out of the park I notice this pickup truck with writing all over it (WARNING: if you are easily offended, DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK). In black marker someone or perhaps many people have penned various quotations, statements, and such. With my interest sufficiently piqued, I walk over to investigate to get the full story on what the heck is going on. It's a funny coincidence, after writing my URL on the van, I immediately stumble upon this pickup truck. Odd.

I make the acquaintance of Kristie, Kevin, Chris & Marc. Passing through Cody, WY on their way to Key West, FL, the three guys (Kristie is a local) are having a bit of fun in Cody. Apparently their truck has turned some heads, especially the local police. They had to add their own text to the truck, proclaiming their right to freedom of speech, before the police would leave them alone.

After leaving the park and running all my errands, I pull into the rodeo grounds a little early and camp out until just before the show.

With ticket in hand, I enter the rodeo arena for some good ole rodeo action.

Click here for more detail (and pictures) on the events at the Cody Nite Rodeo.

After the rodeo I entertain thoughts of staying another day to visit the Buffalo Bill Historic Center but decide against it. I just want to continue down the road, making the push to Devils Tower National Monument my first priority.
