The sign tells me 3.8 miles to Marcy Dam, I'm almost there.

Wow, that's a really red tree.

I turn left and proceed down the dirt road to Marcy Dam.

I drive until I reach this area where folks have parked on the side of the dirt road. It seems to be a dead-end. However, the GPS software tells me there's more road I can drive on. This is strange.
