I wake with great energy, energy that I wish to funnel into my travel writing. But there's a problem. I'm parked at a Walmart and needless to say, peeking out the window verifies that the scenery isn't all that thrilling. The better the scenery, the better the travel writing inspiration.

I then turn my attention to the van's interior and quickly realize a strange thing has happened, a little known hurricane hit Burlington, VT last night. Hurricane Jeff I think its name was. With all the hurricanes that are hammering Florida, this one had somehow spun-off, headed north, then struck my van. Fortunately, the damage is only isolated to its interior.

After some hurricane aftermath clean-up, I venture outside to check out the neighborhood. In one direction I have a pseudo-forest setting.

In another direction is an enormous ant farm, mound upon mound of ant entrances line the landscape. Or maybe it's just pile upon pule of landfill? I'm not sure.

Nearby are my RV neighbors. Apparently the Airstream should be renamed Dentstream.
