Northern Wyoming
Near the top of the pass I stop to take more pictures.
Looking down I notice the ground is littered with colorful rocks so I pick a few as souvenirs.
A deer backbone? Maybe human? I quickly swing around checking for... ummmm... you know, I feel a bit isolated up here.
This desolate place actually nurtures wildflowers, I'm shocked!
A cut-away hillside nearby displays interesting ribbons of color. The rockface shows evidence of past drill holes that were used to blast the rock apart to make way for the road.
