Lake Placid, New York
To get to the top of the 120-meter ski jump, my journey starts with a chairlift ride.
As I make my way to the chairlift I notice this smaller ski jump over to the side. It must be used by the "newbies"?
Some general information about the ski jumps and how they score the jumps.
I board and away I go. It's strange getting on a chairlift without snow and skis.
On the way up I get a closer look at the "newbie" ski jump.
Distance markers for the 90-meter ski jump. I assume it's in meters.
