During a pause in the game, the broadcast displays a list of major upsets in sports history.
- '64 Heavyweight Champ - Clay beats Liston
- Super Bowl III - Jets beat Colts
- '69 World Series - Mets beat Orioles
- '80 Winter Olympics - USA beats USSR
- '85 NCAA - Villanova beats Georgetown
Will this be added to the list? I guess we'll just have to patient and wait till game's end.
- '04 American League Pennant - Boston beats New York
Hey! There's Johnny Damon up to bat for Boston.
More baseball action.
Sorry about the grainy, blurry pictures. It's hard to get good pictures of any substance in a dark bar. The images aren't the greatest, but hopefully they paint a picture of how excited everyone is tonight. There's so much positive energy in the room. As the game winds up and the innings wind down, it looks more and more like the Red Sox are going to win, and in response, the energy just keeps ratcheting up higher and higher.
The moment everyone has been hoping and praying for has finally arrived, a precious moment in sports history has been made, the Red Sox win the American League Pennant!
