U . S . B O T A N I C G A R D E N
Washington, D.C.
Looks like the fall season has snuck into the Conservatory, the leaves are changing color. I think the front door security screeners need to brush up on their fall detection skillset. What's next, I'm going to see a little pile snow? Geeze.
Now there's a rather bizarre sight. A banana tree growing bananas.
Yum! A Cacao plant. I wonder, if I were to bite down on the leaf would it taste like chocolate?
Sweet! On display in the West Gallery is a huge volume of air. It's pretty nice, in a transparent, colorless, and odorless sort of way.
