On the other side of the road I see Simon Pond.

I then spy Tupper Lake. This portion of the lake must be very shallow as indicated by the marsh-like vegetation.

Tupper Lake deepens and expands outward from my viewpoint.

More riding, more colors. I'm almost to the midway point of the ride, just about another mile to go. Tupper Lake has disappeared from view. Where did it go? All I see is colorful forest.
