I finally arrive at Marcy Dam, the hike's first milestone.

I think this is Algonquin Peak but it might be Wright Peak. I climbed Algonquin years ago, it's more than 5,000 feet tall.

From Marcy Dam I start out once again to Mount Marcy.

Passing by Phelps Brook I admire its handiwork on the rock face.
