Seattle, Washington

Much of the downtown area sits atop a hill which makes for interesting geometry from any angle. Believe it or not, the second picture is actually a parking garage.

Another great place to visit is Pike Place Market. It's located at the city's waterfront and is home to fresh fish, produce, and more. The market spans many blocks along Seattle's Waterfront and offers everything you can imagine that is edible. They even sell a large variety of flower arrangements on the cheap.

Bordering Puget Sound, Seattle provides a multitude of ferries to island retreats located to the west. You can walk, bike, or drive to your ferry of choice which all run from early morning to late in the evening. The above sequence shows a ferry coming into dock. There's even a live ferry cam that'll give you the blow-by-blow on all the happenings around the ferry docks.

A good portion of the waterfront actually sits out over the water on many piers. The piers are all numbered for easy reference. The two shots are supposed to be panoramic but it looks a little disconnected. I'm still trying to get a hang of shooting them.
