L O G A N P A S S
Glacier National Park Northwestern Montana
Up and up I climb. The vistas are getting better and better.
A tunnel soon comes into view and offers a hidden treasure missed by most folks, all couped up in their cars and SUVs. The acoustics in the tunnel are on the other side of spectacular. Once mid-way in the tunnel I dismount the bike and start shouting and stomping my feet. The reverberation of sound is amazing, it bounces around for a good 4-5 seconds. I have never experienced tunnel echoing to this degree. Needless to say, I spend about 10 minutes entertaining myself with my new-found tunnel toy.
Inside the tunnel I discover two large portals offering unobstruct views across the valley's expanse.
Walking through one of the portals I'm greeted by this wilderness panorama.
